This surf skate does exactly what I hoped: allows me to train for surfing. Both trucks pivot, so it does not feel overly controlled by the front truck. This allows you to shift your weight and get a very surf-like response from the board. Pumping also feels like you are putting your board on rail when you compress and extend into turns. I have not owned any other surf skates, so I can’t really compare it to other boards.
